I've heard from a few of you that some of the episodes have been great and super helpful as far as C-section rehabilitation and things that you just didn't think about. As you were entering your years of early 40s and beyond, that some of the symptoms you're experiencing now are related to when you had kids many years ago. And as you will hear me say over and over and over again, it's never too late to rehabilitate after having kids. Whether that was a vaginal delivery or a C-section, there's so many things that we could get curious about.
And I wanted to share today about another part of the body that I call the unseen body. In the last episode, I talked about the energetic body, which includes the chakra system, and went on to share about how I learned about this through my experience. Beginning my practice of yoga and then as I continue, just learning about the energy systems in the body.
So if you didn't listen to that episode, go back and listen to it because these are things that we need to get curious about. It's so hard to pinpoint what's actually going on with us when we're not feeling right. You know, we think that it should be physical — back aches and things like that. We want to say: Oh, you know, I don't know what it is. Weak muscles are attributing to our backache, which is very true. But sometimes backache can come from other things. And so go back and listen to the episode about the energetic body and how the energy systems and the lack of flow in the energy systems can also contribute to pain in the body, but also our emotional symptoms that we experience.
Today we're talking about another unseen thing that happens in the body. that I would say is kind of along the lines of energetic — the vibrational body, or emotional body. What I've learned, and again, these are things that I've just discovered as I go through my own movement practice, my own healing practices, as I've read and listened to audibles, or gone through healing processes of my own. This is one I want to share with you because I think it's important, and I want you to get curious about it and do a little bit more research on your own to see if this is something that just sounds like, you know, you could be experiencing the emotional energy in our body.
We vibrate at a frequency. And I found this to be extremely interesting. There's actually a number according to the rate at which we vibrate, and it's associated with an emotion. So, for instance, obviously our lower emotions and the ones that don't feel so good, you would probably assume, yes, that they do vibrate at a lower level. And I found this article in an online emotional intelligence magazine, I just came across it, but I loved a couple of points that they mentioned in the article.
So like I mentioned, our lower feelings are not so great, these feelings cause us to vibrate at a lower level. So say, for instance, shame or guilt, we would vibrate at a frequency of 20.
And then all the way up to enlightenment, that frequency vibrates at about 700 plus. Now, if you were looking at a diagram of the chakra system, shame and guilt is associated with the root chakra. It's in the lower part of the body, right around the pelvic floor area. It's red in color according to the chakra system, and that area is where our shame and guilt is held, so we are vibrating at a low level there.
As you continue up the chakra system, say, in the middle of your belly, that's where you're standing more in your power, your sense of worth your will, and those actually, those feelings are kind of around the idea of power, strength, contentment, and we're vibrating at a higher level there. This may sound like common sense, right?
And then all the way up to the top of the head at our crown is typically where our divine guidance is according to the chakra system and according to our vibrational level, so enlightenment will be the highest at 700 right at the crown. The frequencies I found interesting, because what I found interesting is that there's a number associated. And these numbers are in hertz, or megahertz, and I as I'm learning all of this, too, and also going to school, I went back to school last year to take prerequisites so that I can become a naturopathic doctor, which I'm hoping to attend in the fall of 2024 at Bastyr University down here in San Diego. But all of these classes and these prerequisites require me to take physics and chemistry. And so, I've been learning about frequencies in these classes too, and it's just so interesting how all of these kind of cross over, or they're related. And I'm loving discovering all of these, these things about our body that we just didn't know.
You know, we kind of have a simplistic view of it, I guess. Or maybe I did until I started digging into these things and going to school. But the more we know about our body, the more we can ask for what we need, the more we can ask for help or seek help for things that would support these feelings that we feel around it.
So for instance, if you're feeling low vibrational, if you're feeling feelings of sadness or guilt or shame, some things that you can do to support this are emotional freedom technique or EFT tapping. This is a really, really powerful method and you can find videos online on YouTube very easily if that's something that you would like to look into to raise your vibration, which, you know, we've probably heard that saying quite a bit.
We didn't necessarily know what it meant, but this is giving you an idea of what that actually means. So if you can tap out certain emotions or feelings or experiences that you've had and release them in a sense, then you can essentially raise your vibration to feeling better, to feeling, you know, a little bit more happy and joy.
The ultimate goal, I think for everybody, is to have abundance of energy, abundance of joy, abundance of ease and flow. And the more that we can get into these higher frequencies, we can vibrate at that level. And the level at which we vibrate is the level in which we magnetize things and we draw things. And so I think for me, the easiest example or visual for this is, you know, we tend to think about the people we attract in our lives, you know, relationships, whether good or bad. We always have to kind of look at how we're vibrating because what our energy level is, is what we're going to draw in.
I took this program one time, actually a couple times, with Suzy Batizi, she's the founder of Poo Pourri. This was back in 2020 when I first took her program, and it was really great. It was a six week program, and her idea, it wasn't necessarily a business program as we would think of in, you know, business sense I guess. But what she spoke about was our vibrations and our frequencies. And one of the things that she said that I loved was that your inner world creates your outer world.
So basically your inner vibrations are being magnified out in your outer world. Whatever you are feeling or vibrating at is what you're going to manifest in your outer world. So this is something I thought, you know, it's important to know this. And what you do with it, of course, is up to you — but at least you have this information when you're kind of going: what the fuck, I don't know what's wrong with me. I don't know why this keeps happening to me. I don't know why I feel this way. I'm not feeling like myself. Get curious, and maybe journal about some things that might come up as to why you're feeling this way. If you're feeling guilty about something, if you're feeling sad about something, if you, you know, just feel like something's off, journal about it.
Maybe some memories will come up, maybe some thoughts will come up, things that you can tap on or meditate on or address, whether that's you know, actually talking to someone that was part of this situation that's making you feel this way to get it off your chest, to get it out of your body and so that you can take another step up and raise your vibration so that you are feeling, you know, like your optimal self, which is the ultimate goal, right? To feel like our optimal selves or beyond.
Maybe we have this feeling of, well, I'm not feeling like myself, and you get to this baseline of where you were before. Once before, whether that was before kids or whatever, but maybe you want to get beyond that. Maybe you want to get beyond what your baseline is, which for me, that's my ultimate goal.
I feel like I need to get beyond what my baseline is, because I want to feel better than that. I want to have more energy than I ever did so that I can continue to live abundantly and full of energy, and so that my brain is functioning properly while I complete these courses.
So emotional energy, Google it at some point, emotional energy frequencies. What you'll find is an image of a cone and it will have a rainbow of colors starting at the bottom with red and going all the way up to purple, somewhat like the image of the chakra system starting with the image showing a red root chakra at the bottom and all the way up to violet or white at the crown. And the two, if you were to cross these over, they coincide and make so much sense.
So look at both of those images when you get a chance and then just start journaling. You know, if you're feeling like you're vibrating at a low level, just start journaling — envisioning and meditating on what could be causing that. And then try some tapping meditation. You could also try acupuncture movement. Of course, it’s always my go to that will help release things and raise your vibration.
